Paul Belazis, President
Paul has been a member of the Perrysburg Community since 1987. He and his wife Judy have three children. Paul served as a member of the Perrysburg Heights Community Association board of trustees beginning shortly after its inception and remained on the board for approximately 18 years. He is pleased to be able once again to serve the PHCA as a trustee. He started his term as President in January 2016.
John Ziegelhofer, Treasurer
John joined the board in 2016. He is currently staff accountant at Rayner, Foos, Kruse & Irwin, CPA’s in Maumee. While pursuing his accounting degree at the University of Toledo, he was coaching soccer for a local high school and a youth team in the Toledo area. John is very excited about being on the PHCA board of trustees and serving as its treasurer.
Kadee Anstadt, Trustee
Kadee joined the board in 2015. She serves as the Executive Director of Teaching and Learning for the Perrysburg Schools. She is excited to support the expansion of after-school programming to include Perrysburg Rotary’s Learning Day by Day and the Jacket Academic Summer Camp for Preschool – 3rd graders in the summer of 2016 and thereafter.
Chris Amato, Trustee
Chris is the President of the Historic South Initiative which is focused on helping revitalize the Old South End of Toledo. Chris was active with the Perrysburg Heights Community Center in 2005 prior to the construction of the gymnasium and in the summer of 2014 in helping initiate the summer program with the Perrysburg Schools. Chris joined the board in 2015.
Juan Artiaga, Trustee
Juan joined the board in 2016. He is a former U.S. Marine and retired from the Perrysburg maintenance department. He does local landscaping and home repairs. One of the reasons Juan joined the board is to help the residents of the community.
Michael Croke, Trustee
Michael Croke is a retired Blissfield Middle School Teacher. He was a Pacesetter Soccer Coach and also coached his three sons’ basketball teams. Mike has been an active volunteer in the community as he has volunteered at the Toledo Botanical Gardens, Grace Community Center, The Stranahan Theater, and the Toledo Symphony. He is a Certified Ohio Naturalist Volunteer with the Toledo Metro Parks and is a member of the Lucas County Wild Ones Environmental Club. Mike joined the board in early 2016.
Christine Kempf, Trustee
Chris is the Assistant Treasurer in the Perrysburg School System. She was a board member from 2000 to 2008 and rejoined in 2015. Chris has been a longtime resident of Perrysburg.
Steven Kramer, Trustee and Historian
Steve is Professor Emeritus having retired from the College of Engineering at The University of Toledo in 2008. He taught Mechanical Engineering for 35 years and was Director of Undergraduate Studies for much of that time. Steve has been a volunteer math and science tutor at the Community Center since 2008, and at Perrysburg High School since 2014. He has been a board member since 2009, and organized the Community Garden in 2012.
Fred Moor, Trustee
Fred joined the board in 2015. He is President of Ken’s Flower Shop and was one of the founders of PHCA in 1991. Fred is working with the other board of trustees in advancing the PHCA mission and services to the community.
Shane Komives, Operations Director
Shane joined PHCA as Operations Director in early 2016. His primary focus is Director of Antelope Elite Basketball, Ltd. in Perrysburg where he coaches boys and girls of all ages in the fundamentals of basketball. Shane played varsity basketball at St. John’s Jesuit High School and Bowling Green State University. After graduation Shane returned to St. John’s to serve as assistant to coach Ed Heintschel. He was appointed freshman and junior varsity head coach leading both levels to city league titles. Shane has been active in Toledo area youth, high school and college basketball for over 30 years as a player and coach, and has received numerous awards and hall of fame inductions.
